Meet your guide

Mapu Huni Kuin is a native of the Kaxinawa Ashaninka do Rio Breu Indigenous Land, on the border between Brazil and Peru. He is recognized as a spiritual leader, activist, actor and musician. At a young age, Mapu was chosen by his grandfather to follow the spiritual path. He is a spiritual political representative of the Huni kuin people who live in the state of Acre, Brazil and Peru. 

Mapu is known nationally and internationally for strengthening the cultural identity of his people, working with sacred medicines, and for his activism in defense of environmental preservation and indigenous peoples. He is president of the Associação Centro Huwã Karu Yuxibu and founder and creator of a social project that works with a focus on indigenous people in vulnerable situations and also working with young people to maintain and revitalize their traditional culture through art and music in the city of Rio Branco – Acre, Brazil. 

His career has also stood out as a speaker at universities and world events. As a musician, he is currently in a collaborative partnership with Dj Alok, a nationally renowned producer in Brazil. And he is also working as an actor on a national television network. Mapu's mission as a spiritual leader and Healer is to facilitate inner healing for the collective awakening of humanity.

Mapu's humanitarian work is a testament to his dedication to his tribe and the broader global community. Through various projects, he has focused on improving the socio-economic conditions of indigenous communities, ensuring that their cultural heritage thrives amidst modern challenges. His efforts are also directed towards providing education and fostering cultural exchange, thereby bridging the gap between indigenous wisdom and the wider world.

Sacred space

-The location where the ceremony will be hosted  is 2 hours and 30 minutes South of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and 30 minutes South of Tucson International Airport.  You would receive the actual location, Dieta and preparation a few weeks after you have reserved your spot. 

-It includes classes, private casitas, shared casitas, meals prepared by a professional chef, use of a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and enjoy the beautiful land where we will be staying plus the 2 special ceremonies guided by Mapu, and music circles also guided by him. Kambo will be an option and would be additional to the prices reflected
